It's Raining it's Pouring

Hi Everyone,
Wednesday was spent mostly in the coach, but we did stop to see some wild Koala bears in Gunnereah and have two wine tastings at Tempus2 and McGuigan. Hotel for the night - hurrah - very posh. We had the most amazing thunderstorms yesterday evening in the Hunter Valley. Came down to Newcastle today and 5 of us are staying at a fantastic house high up overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Pouring down with rain again and the Aussies are blaming us pommies for bringing our weather over.

Here are a few pictures. One of our coach, one of me at the most easterley point of Oz and one of Joey and a Christmas Koala friend he met along the way. Having a great time. Arranged to meet an old friend - Kevin and Maggie Mitchell - on Sunday in Sydney.

Never mind carson - it was a nightmare full stop. I cant believe we havent qualified. Beckham, crouch gerrard were awesome. Carson made up for it in the second half with a couple of great saves. Bear in mind he is my age - alot of pressure for his first competitive cap. We watch it in the hogshead. Gutted

Good news Barry - Carnival won't now clash with any England matches in Euro 2008. My view on the match is that Gerrard wasn't good but (considering he is match unfit) Beckham worked hard and showed flashes of brilliance. Crouch was good and scored a great goal but needed an Owen alongside him. We didn't deserve to qualify and my bet is on the 'special one' to be targetted to take over cause if he can do it with a c__p team like Chelsea ............

Tell those Aussie girls to get them out for Doncaster!

Send our best regards to the Mitchells and tell them my granddaughter takes after her grandpa - handsome and intelligent!

I like Joey's new friend. Good to see a picture of you as well at last - not looking too orange! Jealous that you saw some real Kaola's as well as Joey's friend.
